Luminous Space Warriors, sometimes just called Luminous Warriors or Luminous, are warriors given power by the mysterious Khaosians. These warriors can range from vigilante crime fighters to organized squadrons, although not all Luminous use their powers for good. Luminous are granted a wish in addition to powers, although no one is sure how or why the Khaosians grant these wishes.
A Luminous' powers are all different and relate to their wishes. For example, wishing for the health of someone you love might protect a Luminous from attacks that might cause sickness; wishing for wealth might allow a Luminous to produce gold at will; wishing for metaphorical strength might make a Luminous physically strong as well, etc. All Luminous derive their powers from a magical conduit, known as a Lumin.
A Lumin is the physical manifestation of a Luminous' magic. It takes the form of a jewel in a gold-like casing, whose shape thematically or aesthetically fits its Luminous.
A Lumin cannot be destroyed with regular physical means. In order to truly destroy a Lumin, one must possess a great magical strength surpassing that of the Lumin.
A Lumin must be recharged after usage. If it is not, the Luminous will expend all magical energy and become uconscious. In order to recharge a Lumin, one of two things must happen; either the Luminous allows themselves at least 12 hours of resting time, or, in the case that they cannot wait that long, two Lumins can split magical energy between each other if they are pressed together. This second method results in less overall magic, but it can save a Luminous in dire situations.
