I wonder if you think about me the way I think about you
Your body is a temple to me, and I want nothing more than to worship it
This flesh is sacred, and selfishly, I covet it
I see the blood beneath your skin, delicious and divine
And yet beyond the flesh, I see a spark of electricity inside
You've a heart that rivals the kindest of souls
And an intellect that people will overlook
Simply to suit their idiotic pre-conceived notions of you
But I can see the fire within
I can't help but wonder, selfishly, if you think of me in kind
If you see something worth coveting in me
I wouldn't mind if you didn't, if I was just average all around to you
So long as I was still allowed to marvel in your presence
