Vernon is best known for two major things; his inflated ego, and his almost complete lack of genuine social interaction. Vernon is arrogant and hot-headed, and can often seem selfish. Despite his abrasive personality, he has a good heart and seeks to help people as much as he can, even if he has to do so in his weirdly egotistical way. His body is shared with Abussosian M3 26,881,012, also known as Bug, after he was able to survive an Abussosian attack. After a bit of an internal struggle, the two agreed to share the body, and now have to work together to stop the Abussosian threat. Rather ironically, considering his personality, his power allows him to boost the capabilities of his teammates. His cape is also capable of powered flight at will.
Elli is the only real friend he has, and he cares for her deeply. He also cares deeply for his little brother Zack, although that doesn't stop him from messing with him whenever possible. He has a complicated relationship with Bug; on one hand, he is grateful that it hasn't taken full control of their body, but on the other, he wishes he didn't have to share his body with the creature, and he struggles to trust it. He wishes he was closer to Zack's friends, but he struggles to connect with them. He's frightened of Bella, as she always gives him a glare when he hangs around Elli.
