Starksand cats make their homes in burrows they claw out of cacti; the cats sometimes use their magic for this, but generally prefer to use their claws and fangs for the procedure.
Of all the colony territories, Starksand lands are the most harsh and unforgiving. Few cats not raised in the territory can survive its harshness, and due to the nature of this harsh land, as well as a general lack of prey, disabled cats do not get cared for.
